Business Review: ProCook

Placed an order with this company 6/01/10 for a 350ml Cafetiere,£20.00 in their sale. The post jumped from £4.95 to £19.99 because of my post code, knew i was being ripped off but i badly needed the item for 7/01/10,was being told on their site that i had 3 hours in which to order and receive by next day 7/01/10{the day i needed it} I was told by email that i would receive another email detailing tracking info, to date i haven't received it.
Phoned using the number on web site thinking this was going to be a contact number,as i hadn't received the item it was an automated reply telling me to email any query or use the direct line number if i had it, but i didn't and the automated voice didn't tell me the direct line number, so they obviously didn't want people like me annoying them by complaining. After searching about a bit i discovered that Fed Ex have just checked it in today 7/01/10 the day i was supposed to receive it so all in all feel like a donkey to-day paid as much in postage (£19.99) as i did for the Cafetiere £20.00, and didn't get it.
Asked if i could get a full refund including the post and was told that i couldn't cancel, and that i could send it back at my own expense, what really annoys me is this if they caught someone shoplifting in their store they would hang that person out to dry, but its ok for them to rip me off with inordinate postage costs. Incidentally, i was enquiring about buying a DIY welder from another company on the Mainland, the weight of it was 15 KG and the post by courier was £10.00 so there is something wrong somewhere.....

This review is a sham.
I happen to find Procook to the HIGHEST standard of business and have ordered numerous amounts of items from this website without a single problem I also have never come across a customer that has been unhappy in store or out. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly also.
