I ordered my boots in the first week in April 2009. I have sent recorded delivery letters, emails and the number of phone calls I have made are countless. In the last 2 months I have managed to make contact with Nick 4 times, each time he promised to ring me back with an update but he never has. I contacted Channel 4 and they replied very swiftly, apologising, they promoted fitted boot store with all good faith, but following the large amount of complaints have withdrawn this company fm their website.
I now intend to take legal action. I have also emailed Watchdog I encourage others to do so, if we can get them to take this onboard, we can put this company out into the public arena, therefore hopefully stopping others from ending up like soo many of us.

Anonymous — Wed, 21/10/2009 - 6:30pmI have the same issue with fittedboots.com. I placed my order at the beginning of August and it is now the end of October and no boots. I have tried contacting them by phone - they have an automated message that asks you to email. You email and automated message saying thanks for the enquiry.
I was really excited about getting my new boots -now I am left with no choice but to go to my Credit card and ask them to cancel the payment.
Very sad as I like to support young, UK up and coming companies :o(

Anonymous — Mon, 23/11/2009 - 2:46pmI've just managed to speak to a human being after 8 weeks of phone non-stop and emailing. It was as i imagined that the company is a one man band and cannot cope with the number of enquiries he was getting. I have now been promised a refund which i'm not holding by breath about as I think he just told me that to fob me off but please just keep ring the number and eventually the do pick up it took me a while of ringing the number getting a recored message but i kept redialing and they picked up.

I placed an order on 1st Jan Value £107.50. By Feb 5th I had not received my boots or heard from the company regarding reason for delay.
Despite, numerous telephone calls, e mails and letters - To date, I have not heard from the company. Fortunately, I paid on a Credit Card, so am able to get a refund, (although, even Capital are taking their time)
It is a pity I did not check Fitted Boot Store out before ordering. If I had, I would have known, from comments on this and other sites, that they cannot be trusted. I will not make that mistake again....Now I check out every company BEFORE ordering.
What truly suprises me is - given, the court orders against Fitted Boots, reports to Trading Standards, Google etc., - How come they are still operating...??
Just what does it take to get dubious companies off the internet and out of business...?????
