This is Steven Campbell trading as Campbell Joiner Services - the same one who was made bankrupt - see the following:

1. He said he could fit a gas boiler for us and lied about being gas safe registered
2. He took our money and did not do the job
3. He is still trading in his vans with the same logo as before he went bankrupt
4. He gets his money paid to his wife's account so that you can't get anything back from him
5. We now have a list of 4 other people in our local town whom he has treated this way

Anonymous (not verified) — Wed, 08/02/2012 - 11:20pmI am another who fell foul of this individual, again promised the world , took my money and left job unfinished. No bills sent out , no reciepts given. Three years down the line I have had to get another person to sort out the mess he left.

Anonymous (not verified) — Mon, 07/05/2012 - 1:11pmAdd another to the list of those he has ripped off. We are getting our bathroom redone from scratch after only five years since his "handiwork". Problems with workmen not turning up despite our having taken time off work, job abandoned before finishing to start another job, our job taking weeks longer than planned, water leaking to the ceiling below and other damage to furnishings during work, creaking floor, cracked wetwall, handbasin leaking into cupboard below, coving detaching from ceiling, and now leaking radiator and toilet continuously flushing resulting in plumbing problems and emergency callout. By this time of course I would not have them back in the house lest further damage is done so the whole original job is sunk costs as far as I'm concerned. Not that getting any compensation seems likely anyway.
He has traded under other names since, so beware.
