In regards to last week’s poll, we are removing the restriction of being a registered user to create a review on FoulBusiness. As of 3:00pm today (18/07/2010) anyone can file an online review without the need to create a user account with us. We hope this increases your thoughts on our ability to handle your privacy.

However, while creating a review without being registered may seem the better option for your privacy, creating an account and then writing a review is much more beneficial for the author. By being the registered author of your review we can let you know:

• About new comments people have added to you review
• We will tell you when the business concerned has contacted us about your review
• You can respond to your comments easier, quicker and without our moderation

By writing a review while being anonymous, we cannot update you when we have new information such as updates to your review you may be interested in.

Creating a user account, along with writing reviews is just as anonymous to the outside world as writing a review as if you didn’t make an account. Absolutely no information you give us during your account registration is shared with anyone at any time.
