It’s good to keep track of reviews and comments you find interesting online. At FoulBusiness UK, we have always supplied visitors with a way to stay up to date with reviews that interest them. They would click a link to “watch” a review and whenever that review was updated we would email them. If a visitor wrote a comment on a review, they could tick a box to be informed of new comments and replies. How else would visitors know about new comments or review updates without going to the review page all the time?

It’s time to change however. We wanted to introduce a more powerful and flexible way to stay up to day with comments and reviews which users wanted to stay up to date with. 

On the 1st February, we will be slowing phasing out the old “watcher” feature and be introducing FoulBusiness Subscriptions. The new Subscriptions feature allows you to subscribe to reviews, locations, business and categories.

> Subscribe to a review to be informed of new updates and comments to that review only.

> Subscribe to a location to be informed of new businesses that have been reviewed that operate in that location.

> Subscribe to specific businesses to be informed of any new review that may be posted about that business.

> Subscribe to categories like, “builders” for example to be informed of and new business review within the sector.

To subscribe to a specific notification just click the necessary boxes on the review page:

The above subscriptions only allow users to tick for updates associated with that review online. For example, because the company “Posh Drives” is in Cannock, users can only subscribe to reviews in Cannock by ticking that box.

To subscribe to any location, category or business, go to your Notifications tab in your account, where you will be able to manage all your subscriptions:

You can start using this new features right away. Please note that if you have subscribed to reviews and comments using the older way, it is highly unlikely that you will receive new alerts about updates after 1st February.
