Business Review: Space Kitchens

I wish I had never let them through the door. The Designer or I should say sales man would not leave and made every excuse he could to stay. Was there over 4 hours. The quality of the little cupboard was nothing speacial have seen simlar quality at the likes of B&Q Magnet etc. After about 4 hours eventually got a price of £13,000 which came down to a little of £6,000. I'm sure the only way they could do this is if it's over priced in the first place.  

Business Review: Fitness First

I am a member of FF Fenchurch St, London but not for much longer. They are ramming in more and more new members, machines dont work, the sound system to listen to the TV's usually doesnt work, at lunchtime you have to queue for a shower, cant get on the CV machines, lockers are broken, dont have hangars etc etc The jacuzzi was removed for "health and safety(!)" reasons and now, if you forget your pass, even thought you have photo id on you and they have a photo of your face on their system, they wont let you in for "safety and security(!!)" reasons.

Business Review: Virgin Airlines

My Bro in law is a doctor, and an hour or so into a flight to Asia from London there was a general annoucemetn for a Dr - he was silly enough to respond, and spent the next 5 - 6 hours looking after a seriously ill patient on the floor of a galley after confirming to the Captain that they didnt need to divert (thus saving Virgin tens of thousands of pounds). His "thank you" from Virgin? £100 in tokens to spend on Virgin goods - what cheapskates!

Business Review: Quinn Direct

We chose to go with Quinn Direct car insurance because they offered the cheapest price. We paid extra for included breakdown cover . This meant that should we need breakdown/recovery, Quinn would report it to RAC for us, and they would arrange for recovery to come and tow the car away. We would then be provided with a courtesy car. 

This is in fact a very good deal, or it would have been if we'd have received the service which we paid for. After crashing the car this morning, we phoned Quinn Direct to report the accident. This was at around 10am. We were told that they would report the car to the RAC and would arrange for collection, and that they would then ring us back regarding arranging a courtesy car. However after several hours we still hadn't received a phone call.

Business Review: Thrift Urban (Housing Ltd.)

Thrift Urban were called in to refurbish my friends house in Wandsworth.  Because they ware a charity they can do the job exempt of VAT - and therefore much cheaper than their competitors. 

They  were absolutely dreadful!!! They ran over time - more than a month - and even then failed to complete the job.  They refused to go back and attend to the faults  - tiles lifting, toilet unstable, taps leaking, shower not working, rubbish left all over the flat, etc. etc. Eventually my friend had to call in another company to finish the job.

They are rude, nasty and arrogant and their complaint's procedure is a joke! It is rather ironic that Thrift Urban's mission  statement is to help the "needy" and the "aged"!!  In other words, the most vulnerable who are unable to complain!!! 

Business Review: Kwik-Fit

I took my car for the mot to find out they had failed it on my rear indictor bulbs as they swore they where white and they also failed it on my exhaust but bottom line is it still passed the emissions test and i took it to another garage and they passed it. how can it fail on exhaust if it pass the emissions test and the bulbs were orange like there mment 2 be so i wood not rate them 2 any 1 they r rubbish n very rude

Business Review: Trinity Estates

They have been managing our estate for 3 years. We are an apartment block of 12 flats on a new build estate and we are paying over £100 a month for a very poor service. I have gone through the budget breakdown with a fine tooth comb and we are paying about £300 a year too much for our service charge and after the joke of a service we received last year, some residents are seeking legal advice and are now withholding payment.
