Introducing FoulBusiness UK Subscriptions
FoulBusiness — Mon, 23/01/2012 - 9:19pm
It’s good to keep track of reviews and comments you find interesting online. At FoulBusiness UK, we have always supplied visitors with a way to stay up to date with reviews that interest them. They would click a link to “watch” a review and whenever that review was updated we would email them. If a visitor wrote a comment on a review, they could tick a box to be informed of new comments and replies. How else would visitors know about new comments or review updates without going to the review page all the time?
It’s time to change however. We wanted to introduce a more powerful and flexible way to stay up to day with comments and reviews which users wanted to stay up to date with.
Responding to online reviews (for businesses)
FoulBusiness — Thu, 01/12/2011 - 11:40pm
No business likes to get a negative review anywhere on the internet, and it can make the situation worse if you think it violates your legal rights. FoulBusiness UK is designed to be fair and equal to both consumers and businesses. In this article, we want to explain the importance of your business reputation on not only FoulBusiness but also other review sites that let consumers write about your business. Let’s start with the basics.
Well done “Farceway Couriers” you reached another milestone.

Staying clear of Tradesmen Scams
FoulBusiness — Sun, 14/08/2011 - 10:23am
You hear about it, you see it on television - people who employ cowboy builders to work on their house and end up with a botched or uncompleted job that costs far more than they imagined, and which then takes thousands more to correct. But with some care you can avoid the nightmare of the cowboys in your house. It's worth remembering that 100,000 complaints are made every year in the U.K. against rogue builders.
How They Work
One common approach of the cowboy is to knock on your door, say he's "working in the area" and that your roof, drive (or something else) needs work. Without a thorough look he offers a low quote, and perhaps says he has material left over from another job that he can use. His vehicle will look unprofessional, he won't offer a specific schedule for the work. His only phone number will be a mobile, and he'll ask for payment before he begins - in cash, to avoid paying VAT.
Fastway Couriers, you reached the milestone. Not really too impressive.
FoulBusiness — Fri, 29/07/2011 - 11:31am
At a time when social reputation is paramount to the success or failure of a business, it’s our pleasure to reach another milestone for the success stories here at FoulBusiness UK.
Our first review to reach over 5,000 reads has been met. The company “Fastway Couriers” claimed the title yesterday, and although I really don’t think Fastway Couriers will be talking about it, it is important for them to understand the impact FoulBusiness and its visitors are having on their business. They must understand that continuing to scam and rip people off is no way to conduct business, and that FoulBusiness is here for exactly that reason. Although FoulBusiness UK have no power to take action against Fastways for the damage they have caused to franchisees and clients, it’s previously been the case where FoulBusiness has acted as a good source of defence and reference. So take action if you wish.

Builder scams can be a real headache for anyone who happens to encounter them during their time having work carried out at their home. For many people, it can lead to a loss of money and a huge amount of stress, often without having the work completed. There are obvious scams that people need to be able to spot in order to avoid these rogue builders and also ways of avoiding them that should make it easier to steer clear of disaster.
